Sudurpaschim Province Clinches Naresh Shrestha U-19 Cricket Title

Sudurpaschim Province secured the Naresh Shrestha Memorial U-19 National Cricket Championship by defeating Lumbini Province by 8 runs in the final held in Biratnagar.

  • Sudurpaschim's Innings: Opting to bat first, Sudurpaschim posted a total of 128 runs. Key contributions came from Abhishek Thapa (29 runs), Naren Bhatt (27), and Naren Saud (15). Lumbini's Santosh Yadav was the standout bowler, claiming five wickets, while Ramesh Kurmi took three.

  • Lumbini's Response: Chasing 128, Lumbini was bowled out for 119 runs in 43.1 overs. Captain Akash Tripathi top-scored with 22 runs, followed by Shiva Kunwar (20) and Vijay Kohar (19).
