Afghanistan Clinches ODI Series Against Bangladesh with Decisive Victory

In a thrilling conclusion to the ODI series, Afghanistan emerged victorious over Bangladesh, winning the third and deciding match by five wickets. The match took place on Monday in Sharjah, UAE, where Afghanistan successfully chased Bangladesh's target of 245 runs with ten balls to spare, ending the series 2-1 in their favor.

Afghanistan’s innings were powered by opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who scored a remarkable century, making 101 runs off 120 balls with five fours and seven sixes. His solid performance was supported by Azmatullah Omarzai, who contributed 70 runs, and Mohammad Nabi, who remained unbeaten at 34.

Earlier, Bangladesh set a competitive target by scoring 244/8 in 50 overs. Their innings was led by Mahmudullah, who scored 98 runs, supported by captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who added 66. Afghanistan's Azmatullah was instrumental in the bowling attack, taking four wickets for 37 runs, while Nabi and Rashid Khan each claimed a wicket.

This series win follows Afghanistan’s recent success against South Africa, showcasing their growing strength in international cricket.
